CEU stands for Continuing Education Units. These units are credits from an accredited program designed for massage therapists. Some states may require these every year, or to renew a massage therapist license. Each course is a designated number of credit units. Event Details: 7 Continuing Education hours--$125($145 after December 17, 2008). Taught by Emily LaBathe. The history, explanation and benefits of Reiki including how Reiki encourages an acceleration of the body's own healing process will be in the manual and discussed. A Reiki 1 attunement will be given to the students by Emily LaBathe, a Reiki Master. The Reiki practitioner symbol (the Reiki Power Symbol) will be shown and taught how to use. Reiki hands-on healing techniques and hand positions for self and others are in the manual and time will be given to practice these. A Reiki 1 certificate will be given.

Event Details: 24 Continuing Education hours = $490 ($525 after April 3). Taught by Robert Goldberg. The “Bone To Bone Pain Release: The Push Method,” is a very aggressive, localized, deep compression healing system for the treatment of chronic and acute pain, and stiffness. It can be particularly effective in the treatment of headaches, arthritis, fibromyalgia, tendonitis, and, bursitis. The focal point of Bone-to-Bone is to locate and identify the very “Center” of a specific pain, and then to apply and regulate various levels of measurable pressure to that specific area. The actual healing is in the release.

Volume I deals with evaluation and correction of improper structure with a variety of simple techniques and in a treatment order that makes sense; structure of the lower body including lumbar, sacrum, pelvis, hip, knee and ankle joints. Volume I is dedicated to the identification and correction of structural abnormalities of the pelvic region. No segment of bodywork has been as exciting or as effective in practice as the restructuring of the human body.
